A number of post-graduate students in the English Education Department do not have experience in writing papers in English. Examine how important is the students complete the task of writing this paper from their lecturers. Research using this approach because the process of cognitive research aims to explain the mental processes that are experienced by students while writing. By examining the process of thinking when students are writing, the strategies they use to complete the task of writing can be exposed.

Definition Of Research

Research = study (significant of ‘study’) = investigation = inquiry.
Inquiry (to raise question) – reflects the concept of research.
1.    Curiosity = wanting to know (have a problem/question).
2.    Collecting data = raw information/data – before analyzing).
3.    Analyzing the data = make the information more meaningful).
4.    Conclusion (answer to the question).

Pengertian Perilaku

Dalam sebuah buku yang berjudul “Perilaku Manusia” Drs. Leonard F. Polhaupessy, Psi. menguraikan perilaku adalah sebuah gerakan yang dapat diamati dari luar, seperti orang berjalan, naik sepeda, dan mengendarai motor atau mobil. Untuk aktifitas ini mereka harus berbuat sesuatu, misalnya kaki yang satu harus diletakkan pada kaki yang lain. Jelas, ini sebuah bentuk perilaku. Cerita ini dari satu segi. Jika seseoang duduk diam dengan sebuah buku ditangannya, ia dikatakan sedang berperilaku.  Ia sedang membaca. Sekalipun pengamatan dari luar sangat minimal, sebenarnya perilaku ada dibalik tirai tubuh, didalam tubuh manusia.

Many family businesses do not survive three generations (Widyasmoro, 2008). Business failure is mostly due to continuous internal conflicts by the family members seeking to acquire the utmost power in the succession of executives in the business. Conflicts arise in family businesses when the time comes for the business to pass from one generation to the next in the process of inheritance.  According to the Family Firm Institute and research done for the Family Business Review (Hall, 2008) only 30% of all family-owned businesses survive a transition into the second generation, while only 12% survive into the third and  only 3% transition to the fourth generation and beyond.  There is an idiom in Indonesia for family business that "the first generation is the founder, the second generation is the developer and the third generation is the destroyer".
