| Term | Definition |
| Game Theory | Simplification of human behaviour to a series of games that can be modelled, often mathematically. Includes games of 'chicken', 'Prisoners' dilemma' and the Nash equilibrium. Closely related to economics. |
| Gamma | Measure of association appropriate when both of the variables consist of ordered categories. |
| Generalizing | Extending a concept proven in one area to others areas. |
| Grounded theory | A research approach used to develop conceptual categories/theory about social processes inductively from real-world observations (data) from a selected group of people. The researcher may subsequently make further observations to test out the developed categories/theory. |

Hmm, it’s have been a while (a while???) since last time i wrote here. Skripsi is Indonesian terminology for a formal and lengthy research paper, especially a work of original research written in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a bachelor’s degree. I’m not sure about the equal English terminology for the Indonesian phrase strata satu, bachelor is the closest possible word that came into my mind. Whatever it is, with so many things in my mind, trying to share it with the entire world. :) |
